What To Expect

Day 1 (Guwahati- Kaziranga National Park)

Our English-speaking guide/driver will welcome you at Guwahati airport with our welcome hamper. After the meet and greet, proceed to the Kaziranga National Park (Distance 225 km; Travel Time: Around 4 hrs ); one of the most popular wildlife destinations of the country. Check-in to the hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 2 (Kaziranga National Park)

Start your day early in the morning and go to enjoy the elephant safari at Western Range (Bagori) or Central Kohora range. After the safari, return to the hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast, travel to Kaziranga Orchid park to see their collection. Have an early lunch and reach forest range to start your jeep safari at 1:30 pm. Complete the safari and return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3 (Kaziranga National Park- Sibsagar)

Have your breakfast in the hotel and proceed to see the archeological remains of ancient Ahom Kingdom. Visit Sibsagar, from where the Ahom Kingdom generated. On the way, check out the historical places like Kareng Ghar, Talatal Ghar, Rang Ghar, Joysagar tank, etc. Check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Sibsagar.

Day 4 (Sibsagar- Majuli Island)

Complete breakfast at your hotel and start for the green and culture-rich Majuli island (Distance 84 km; Travel Time around 2 hrs). Reach Nimati Ferry Ghat and from there, travel to Majuli Island. Check-in to the hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Majuli.

Day 5 (Majuli Island)

Have breakfast at your hotel and then start exploring the island. Start your journey with the famous Garmur Sattra, and then move to Auniati Sattra which was established in 1653 AD. Visit other sattras and meet with local Mishing Tribe of Majuli Island. Reach hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Majuli island.

Day 6 (Majuli Island-Jorhat)

Have your breakfast and then start for one of the most beautiful townships of Assam, Jorhat. Famous for its tea gardens, Jorhat has the famous Gymkhana club which was established in 1876 AD by D. Slimmon. Visit raja Maidan, explore the tea gardens and the science center of the town and check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at Jorhat.

Day 7 (Jorhat- Guwahati)

Start for Guwahati (Distance: 328 km; Travel Time: Around 6hrs) after completing breakfast. Have lunch on the way. Reach Guwahati and complete check-in procedure. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 8 (Guwahati)

Have an early breakfast and start for the famous Kamakhya Temple. Check the Assam State Museum and the local markets. In the evening cruise through the mighty Brahmaputra River and enjoy the sunset from the deck. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 9 (Airport/ Railway Station Transfer)

Have Your breakfast and then proceed to the airport or railway station.
